What readers are saying about Saroor’s books

‘Hard to put down. “One more page” often turned to “one more chapter”, which then turned to “it’s only 1 a.m., I can fit in another few chapters before I fall asleep”.’

The banter is hilarious. Great story that kept me hooked from start to finish. I don’t usually like sci-fi books but the banter between the characters is so entertaining that I wasn’t bored for one second. Not to mention the absolute deadpan narration is hilarious too. It reminds me of old-timey authors like Jerome K Jerome and G K Chesterton. Really really fun book.

Ren is my blorbo but almost all characters are really likable. They had fun chemistry, good depth, and compelling arcs by the end of the story. I just didn’t want my time with them to end. While the heist part is central to the story, it is the characters that actually brought it home for me. They felt like real people and saying goodbye to them was genuinely sad for me.
